What to expect
A unique walk to experience life beyond the life you know. With an estimated third of Kolkata's population living in slums and a further 70,000 people completely homeless, a slum walk is the best way to see the real Kolkata.
You get a glimpse of the life they live, the challenges they face on daily basis to meet the very basic necessities of life, like food, cloth & shelter.
This walk helps the community to connect to the mainstream. It creates a positive impact on the community and encourages them to dream for a better tomorrow. It is so gratifying to see people with so many problems in life, yet greeting others with a broad smile on their face every time you meet them
Let’s give them a chance to be one of us & make them feel they are one of us by creating a bond with them, called Humanity.
